Avéli No More Cellulite Nonsense

Reduce cellulite on the thighs and buttocks in just one treatment.

Say Hello to Smoother Skin

Avéli™ is an FDA-cleared, minimally invasive treatment that provides long-term cellulite reduction on the thighs and buttocks. In a single, in-office procedure, we can deliver you lasting results by addressing the primary cause of cellulite.

What is Cellulite?

Cellulite is a depression of any shape or size with defined edges seen on the surface of the skin, typically on the buttocks or thighs. A major underlying cause of cellulite are the fibrous bands that tether your skin to the structures below. These bands are called septa. Some septa are good (and you want them as connective tethers), but others stiffen or shrink over time and lead to the dimples we see on the surface and call cellulite.

You should also know that cellulite is not your fault (genetics and hormones play a role), and you are not alone – up to 90% of women have it!

How Does Avéli at CAPS Work?

Avéli™ works for a range of women across the cellulite severity spectrum. While many treatments approach cellulite blindly from the outside-in, Avéli identifies and releases the primary structural cause of cellulite from the inside-out in a single minimally-invasive procedure. Using the handheld Avéli device, you provider will manually target and release the complicated web of septa bands causing cellulite dimples.

Avéli addresses the primary structural cause of cellulite in 3 steps:

  1. Your provider guides the Avéli device under the skin directly to the targeted dimples.

  2. After your provider identifies the culprit septa bands causing a dimple, those septa are precisely released.

  3. Your provider can confirm their release in real-time delivering visibly smoother skin.

How Quickly Will I See Results?

Patients are able to enjoy their full results about a month after the treatment once bruising and swelling has faded. Avéli results are long-lasting and patients will notice reduced cellulite dimples, smoother appearance and improved confidence.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are there any side effects?

The most common side effects are mild pain within the first 24 hours and bruising and tenderness to the touch which typically resolves within 30 days.

Does Avéli only treat cellulite dimples?

Avéli treats the septa bands causing cellulite dimples. It is not a procedure that addresses other concerns often seen alongside cellulite, such as laxity (loose skin) or localized pockets of fat.

How do I know if Avéli is right for me?

If you are in or near Central Ohio and looking for a visible reduction in cellulite dimples from a single, minimally invasive in-office procedure, Avéli could be for you! Schedule a consultation with us to determine if you are a candidate.

How long does an Avéli procedure take?

A typical Avéli procedure will take around 1-2 hours, including local anesthesia and the procedure itself. Exact timing will vary depending on your personalized procedure plan developed by your provider.

Is there any pain or downtime?

Since Avéli is a minimally invasive procedure, there will be slight swelling and bruising. But due to the local anesthesia, patients shouldn’t feel any pain or discomfort during the procedure. There is little to no downtime after the Avéli procedure. Most patients are able to return to their normal activities within 24-48 hours.

It is recommended to avoid any strenuous activities or workouts in the first few days/weeks after the procedure to allow the area to heal. We will provide you with complete post-procedure expectations and recommendations.

Will I need multiple treatment sessions?

A great benefit of Avéli is that it’s designed to be a single, in-office procedure. During a single procedure, your provider can fully address the dimpled cellulite targets on both your buttocks and thighs.
